Core
Values:
MAAP recognizes that: -
-
Commitment, Trust, Transparency, accountability,
cooperation, acceptance, respect for each other's ideas, and a shared
vision are critical for effective team work throughout the
organization.
-
As an indigenous NGO, MAA-P is best placed to
effectively reach the community at all levels and localities.
-
Communities deserve to be fully involved, adequately
informed and their capabilities build so they can effectively
participate in determining a better future and sustainable livelihood
for themselves.
-
Eradicating STI/HIV/AIDS is only one measure in
reducing community suffering and poverty. A holistic approach to
sustainable development is indispensable.
-
Diverse skills are needed for building and running an
effective organization and field programmes that address various
community needs.
